My name is Cole Kelsey, I am a graduate architecture student at the University of Idaho. In my undergrad at the University of Washington I fell in love with the process of design and tackling problems. When I transferred to the University of Idaho the community I found solidified my love for architecture.

Through pursuing this calling to architectural design, I think of creating spaces that are more than just buildings to people, but spaces in which they can live out their lives and create endless memories within. I used to believe that architecture was just the art of building things that looked cool or defied gravity, but I never realized how the act of creating a space can significantly enrich the lives of thousands of people, or a newlywed couple, and even a growing family. The idea is that the walls I design and construct will remember the stories of these everyday people, and that by the end of my career, the walls that I have put up should have a lot to talk about.
